Room Tones Purple is the final part of the series created during the early part of the Covid 19 lockdown as a creative outlet and self medicating meditation process. These tracks almost happened in spite of me, I set up self generating Buchla patches and then let them do their own thing in my room as I worked on other things. There was some comfort in letting go of the process like that, and they became the perfect companion then and later when I'd walk along Brighton seafront after work. They are perfect daydream or 'switch off' music.
Room Tones Purple is probably the busiest of the series and gets a bit 'crunchy' in a few places, but still follows the spacious tone of the others.
There is an interview by Mat Smith on the Front and Follow website where I talk in more detail about the Room Tones series.
All proceeds from this series go to Chestnut Tree House.
The recording is split in to 3 parts due to Bandcamp limitations on file sizes.

it was broken, yet it formed itself anew. it stands slowly on atrophied legs, sinews taught and wires loose. at its full height, the sun is momentarily blocked out and a chill descends on the assembled crowd. it is wondrous and terrible in its unnatural shape. Leiyun
